About Priscilla
I am an independent artist from Texas. I currently live in Austin and work out of my home studio. I have been making art for 15 years and studied Studio Art (Fiber Art) in college. My background in Fiber Art has given me a wide array of different skill sets. Although I’ve been making art for a long time, I am forever a student of art and am always seeking out how to expand my knowledge of different mediums. I currently specialize in watercolor and embroidery. They are my favorite subjects to teach to other artists!

I’ve been making art for over half my life and have learned many different mediums along the way. I studied art for 5 years in college, but continue to teach myself as much as I can. I absolutely love teaching new artists and those who are dedicated enough to learn on their own outside of a formal school setting. I think anybody is capable of being a great artist ! I would love to share the knowledge I’ve gathered throughout the years to help you get there. I’ve also learned a lot through trial and error and feel that I have a lot to offer students about mistakes to avoid. Art is for everyone and there is no room for elitism in this field. If you choose to hire me, you will be hiring someone who is open minded, knowledgeable about mistakes from firsthand experience, and will be encouraging of your art no matter where you are in your journey!
