My practice involves tailoring, draping, zero waste cutting, quilted embellishment, corsetry and working with recycled textiles. From beginner to advances sewing and construction tutorials with the support of great resources and projects tailored to your interest and project goals.
I have experience in innovation and human centered design thinking through the Fastrack Innovation Program and participation in the Copenhagen Youth Fashion Summit 2018-19. These programs have supported my development as a designer and brought my focus to systems design, project management and pitch documents. As an educator I am to support students to communicate with clarity and purpose.
I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Fashion Design (hons), my specialty is using textile waste to bio-fabricate mushroom materials for positive eco-social impact. I work as a cultivator of education and ecosystems as a board member of the Applied Mycology and Learning Lab in Melbourne.
