About Skye
I am a professional session vocalist with 11 years of vocal and performance experience. I have been trained by vocal coaches at the Academy of Contemporary of music (London) who have worked alongside acts such as Michael Bubble, Ed Sheeran etc. I currently work alongside renowned South African musicians such as Richard Brokensha playing corporate gigs and gaining practical industry experience. I want to teach vocals because I believe that practicality in singing is very important. As well as to pass on a couple lessons I had to learn on my own to make your life as a vocalist much easier from mic technique to vocal health.

Will start the first lesson by outlining your goals and reasons for learning to sing. For example, wanting to perform well in a trinity exam, wanting to feel more confident on stage or even to start posting videos on social media etc. Next I will ask you to pick any song that you like to perform to me, so that I can have a understanding of your technicality and we can move forward from there. I understand that learning to sing can be an intimidating experience, so I would like you to know that I would encourage you to make mistakes, nobody is perfect vocally. I will also make use of technical vocal warm ups as well as other exercises you can use to practice with in-between lessons.
