About Amy

-I recently graduated from UCC with a Bachelor's in Music. -I would describe my style of playing as a Kerry/Limerick/Cork/Clare style (it is quite a mix!) -I am a multi-instrumentalist, and I currently play 6 instruments- the accordion, fiddle, flute, tin whistle, kalimba and classical piano. Further information can be viewed on my website (concealed information)

About the lesson

-I am offering Irish flute and tin whistle lessons. -I have experience in teaching these instruments. -My lessons are available both online and in-person, depending on the student's location. -My classes are open to all age groups and abilities- please don't hesitate to reach out if you would like to learn! - If possible when you reach out to me let me know what level you play at (entry level, beginner, intermediate, advanced + how many years you have been playing if applicable), what you hope to learn from the classes/any particular goals you are hoping to meet and a rough idea of when you think you would be able to do the classes! I look forward to hearing from you! *Payments must be made to the tutor at least 12 hours before the lesson is due to begin. If the student fails to pay the class fee before this time frame, the tutor reserves the right to cancel the class, even at short notice. *If the student cancels their classes more than 3 times in one month without fair reason (including any rescheduled classes), the tutor reserves the right to terminate any further lessons with the student. *If lessons are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, there is a cancellation policy in place and you will be charged the full class cost, as that timeslot could have been offered to another student and to compensate for the time spent planning the class.

Perfect! Amy was just the teacher I was looking forward. She is very good at explaining the technique involved to do ornaments on the whistle that I was looking to learn and she clearly knows her stuff. I would recommend her to everybody looking to learn the tinwhistle.
