About Niocol
I am a musician that graduated from Ulster University with first class honours in music, and I wish to start gaining experience teaching as that is what I want to do as a career in the future. I play and teach flute (Diploma level), piano (working on Grade 8) and a bit of alto saxophone (no grade). I have also completed my music theory diploma.

My teaching would be aimed at music theory levels from complete beginner to grade 8. My intention when teaching is to simplify as much as possible all the key concepts of music theory and explain them as best as I can so as the student can fully grasp the concept. Lessons would be broken down into key concepts and topics and then reinforced with practice questions or past paper practice if learning for a theory graded exam. I feel music theory is one of the most important things you can learn if you like/study music as it helps everything make sense and can open many doors to other parts of music.
