Before my lessons with Olivia, I was self-taught and had plateaued in my violin ability. Since then, she has been all I could ask for in a violin teacher and it’s so lovely to see how much I’ve developed.
The amount of thought and care she puts into her teaching is clear in the welcoming and encouraging environment she always creates. Her eye for detail alongside her clear explanations, allowed me to spot and tackle areas that need attention, whilst still feeling supported enough to make mistakes and ask for clarification.
It is down to her teaching I owe the huge improvements I’ve made and would immediately recommend her to anyone looking for violin tutoring.

Olivia taught my son piano and theory from scratch, and got him to a good level for his age. She was always very kind and encouraging and enthusiastic so he was always happy to see her and excited for lessons. I would really recommend her to anyone seeking a tutor for their child; she was so gentle in her approach yet he learnt a lot and loved his experience.

Olivia has been teaching my 9 year old son how to play the violin for the past 18 months, and his ability and confidence have come incredibly due to her encouraging and enthusiastic nature. She teaches with such a passion, and is amazing at passing this on to her students. My son has truly enjoyed his lessons with her, and looks forward to the next time they are able to meet as she personalises each lesson to best meet his needs and support his progress, all while making it entertaining for him- no easy feat! If you’re looking for a violin teacher for any age I would strongly suggest this young lady - she’s amazing!
