About Brendan
I am a self-made musician who has been playing guitar for ten years and bass for eight. My experience comes from taking what I learned from my own time as a student of music and playing in concert bands and forming it to different stylistic directions and projects, such as playing in bands, live gigging and recording. I earned my B.A. Honors degree from Brock University in art philosophy. This experience has enriched my teaching values and pushed me to share the music I love with whoever I can.

All skill levels from having never plucked a string before to more advanced shedding welcome. Can teach a number of styles including rock, blues, folk and even jazz and classical. Lessons are structured around understanding music theory from a guitarist /bassist perspective and moving that knowledge onto the fretboard. The content of the lessons is built around your own skill level and musical influences while referring back to the theory behind the sounds. This is to keep students interested in learning guitar without losing the value of having a theoretical understanding of music.

Perfect! He is an outstanding tutor! He related very well with my daughter and is very knowledgeable. My daughter was sceptical in getting lessons but now is excited to play and practices every day. She looks forward to every lesson and is excited to try new instruments as well. I would highly recommend.
