About Francois
I have always been attracted to the arts since childhood. Family outings at home were museums and concerts. My brother, from a very young age, has played the guitar and has always accompanied me in my projects and various adventures. He is now doing a master's degree in jazz guitar teaching in Lausanne, Switzerland.
For my part, I started the drums at the age of five and continued lessons until I entered high school. I have also since my youngest age always been in a choir.
I passed a Bac L music option in Orléans with a brilliant American teacher named Charles Tobermann. During my three years of high school, I studied theater at the conservatory, which I stopped the year after my baccalaureate.
I then decided to join my brother in England at the Leeds Conservatory where he studied jazz guitar. I spent three very interesting years, although the covid did not help to have a student life worthy of the name. I have made very good friends and come out grown, mature and bilingual from these three years abroad. The teachers were exceptional and we had masterclasses with some of the greatest music producers still alive, such as Andrew Schoeps.
I also, with my brother, participated in fingerstyle guitar workshops in Austria (seriously for him and simply for my pleasure on my side) with teachers like Jon Gomm, Thomas Leeb, Preston Reed, etc.
I recently started playing piano and bass to continue my instrumental practice. I've always been a jack of all trades, I do video editing, 3D renderings, figurine painting, drawing, etc. I am also a big fan of video games of all kinds.
The role of a teacher in the arts is very special, and the teachers I have had in my life have marked me enormously for many different reasons. I have stayed in touch with them for years and always come back to them for advice. So I see the role of teacher as something important in the life of an artist.

I am open to all levels and can guide the topics covered in the lessons according to the student's requests.
One of my strengths is that I have recorded and produced all types of musical formations and can therefore, although having studied in professional studios, accompany you in your recording process in Home Studio.
I also produce in all musical styles, techno, DnB, lofi, orchestral music, etc.
I am open to several DAWs (MAO software) such as Ableton, FL Studio, Protools, Logic, even if I use and am the most comfortable on Ableton.
I can also help you in your preparation and pre-production, during rehearsals or before studio recording sessions.
During these three years of study, I participated in many musical projects in collaboration with other producers and musicians, as an active member of the project as an outside perspective.
I want to be clear from the start and warn you: as my university professors used to say, what I bring to you will by no means be the only solution or way to go. I can teach you the technical and theoretical aspects, methods, bring you thoughts and advice, but music production remains a space of freedom and experimentation.
