About Andrew
I'm a Brisbane-based musician and sound engineer. I'm also a private piano and music theory teacher with 6 years of teaching experience in the private and in the TAFE sectors and have successfully passed students through the AMEB examination system.
Qualifications:
ANZCA Modern Pianoforte 8th Grade (with First Class Honours) - 2011
ANZCA Modern Theory 6th Grade - 2011
Bachelor of Music from Queensland University of Technology - 2015
Cert IV in Training and Assessment from Rose Training - 2017

I believe that each student's combination of goals and learning needs are unique and so will always adjust my approach to best support their progress. A solid foundational knowledge of music theory will always enable the student to musically express themselves through their instrument and explore their full potential - regardless of what musical style they wish to pursue performing or composing.
