About Alfred
My name is Alfie, I am 24 years old and have been teaching French and English for over six years. I was born in England and moved to the South of France when I was 5, where I was enrolled in the local school system before moving back to England and English school, ten years later. Wanting to delve deeper into the French language led to me studying French at Queen Mary University in London. Once there and being passionate about learning languages, I took Spanish as my secondary subject. After university, I moved to Costa Rica to help set up a restaurant, learn to surf, and perfect my Spanish. I naturally fell into teaching, I love doing it. It fills me with satisfaction and pride knowing that I can use my skills to do something positive!

I am offering lessons in French for all levels; whether you are a complete beginner, working towards GCSE or A-Level French, looking to improve your conversational French and English, or needing help with technical vocabulary for your business, I can help. I can also teach Spanish to the Primary and Secondary levels. My teaching style focuses on giving you the skills and confidence to speak a foreign language while getting you to the necessary level to excel in any exams that you are going to be taking. I offer my services to children or adults and I am available 7 days a week.
