About the lesson

Hi my name is Amy and I am a newly qualified FE teacher specialising in special educational needs. I am passionate about education and personal development, supporting learners within the classroom and community for a number of years. My main subjects are sociology, education studies and health and social care, but I also have recent experience delivering functional mathematics and employability to individuals at various levels. I have extensive experience of supporting individuals with PMLD and Autism, and I am currently working in an EBD school, which is equipping me with behaviour management skills and knowledge of mental health issues. I love teaching and believe that I can learn just as much from the individuals I teach than they can from me, and that we can all accomplish amazing things with the right support and understanding :)
