About Praiseworthy
My students include children, teenagers, and adults who want to learn Urdu for different reasons. Some are complete beginners with Pakistani family connections who want to communicate with relatives. Others are travelers, expatriates, or language enthusiasts interested in South Asian culture and languages. I also teach children who are learning Urdu as a heritage language and need support with speaking, reading, and writing. As a native Urdu speaker, I am passionate about sharing my language with others and helping learners gain confidence in their communication skills. It is rewarding to see students progress from knowing only a few words to having conversations, reading texts, and expressing themselves in Urdu.
