I've been tutoring for 3 years already and so I have great experience in teaching. My first session is mainly for introductory purposes and usually, after the first lesson, I can already come up with a personalized study plan. My lessons involve revision of material, but the main part is problem-solving. I always prepare a set of questions before the session and I try to be as encouraging as possible. The thing that set me apart from many tutors is that I am very patient and I always make sure that students understand the solution of a given problem. I try to be as engaging with a student as possible as it is a key to understanding.
