While I was in high school, I helped tutor math students during my free hour. I would have them point out what they were struggling with and then I would explain it to them in different ways until they understood it. After that, I would have them do a problem showing all of their work. If they got something wrong, then I was able to see where they went wrong. This helped me understand how to help them further and it helped my 'students' to understand what they did wrong and how to fix it. While my classes this time are going to be online, I promise that it will not have the same feel to it.
