About Rishi
Hi, I'm Rishi, a passionate badminton player and coach with over 10 years of competitive experience. I have trained professionally from a young age, competed at district and state levels in India, and won multiple tournaments throughout my playing career.
I'm an International Student from India at RMIT and I'm planning on doing part-time coaching.

My coaching focuses on building strong fundamentals first, followed by improving consistency, movement, tactical awareness, and match performance. Every lesson is structured to suit the player's current level, with clear goals and regular feedback to ensure steady progress.
A typical lesson lasts 60 Minutes and includes a warm-up, footwork drills, stroke technique, multi-shuttle exercises, game-based practice, and a cool-down with feedback. As players improve, training intensity increases through a progressive plan that develops both technical skills and physical conditioning.
I have over 10 years of competitive badminton experience, having trained professionally, competed in district and state-level tournaments in India, won multiple tournaments, and coached players of different ages and skill levels. I also have experience organizing badminton tournaments, which has strengthened my understanding of player development and match preparation.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate and club-level players. Whether your goal is to learn the basics, improve fitness, prepare for competitions, or gain confidence on court, I will tailor each session to help you achieve your goals in a fun, supportive, and disciplined environment.
