About Puja
Hi! I’m Puja Sharma, a National-Level Chess Player with a deep passion for the game ♟️
I started playing chess at the age of 4, and over the years I have gained 14+ years of experience in playing and understanding the game. I have been a multiple-time District, State, and Regional Champion, which has helped me build strong skills and a competitive mindset.
Along with playing, I have also been teaching chess for the past 1 year. Teaching has helped me understand the game even better and connect with students in a meaningful way
I believe that learning never stops. Even as a teacher, I see myself as a learner who is always improving, exploring new ideas, and growing with every game and every student.
My goal is to share my knowledge in a simple and friendly way, so that anyone can enjoy chess and become better step by step

In my classes, I focus on making chess simple, fun, and easy to understand for every student.
I teach the basic rules, how each piece moves, and simple tactics
Improve your openings, middlegame strategies, and endgame skills
Develop strong thinking, better calculation, and smart decision-making skills
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and personalized. I break down complex ideas into simple steps and make learning enjoyable, especially for kids.
A typical class usually includes:
learning a new concept
solving a few puzzles
playing games
and then discussing mistakes and improvements.
I focus not just on moves, but also on building thinking skills, focus, and confidence in students.
My classes are suitable for kids, beginners, and anyone who wants to learn chess in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
Online classes are available with flexible timings.
