I am originally from Syria but have lived in Egypt and currently in the States. I have the cultural context to provide along with your lessons. In my free time I like reading both Arabic and English novels. I am well versed in all of the Arabic nuances and will help guide you and answer any questions you may have.

I met Hanin through the Chicago Syrian Community Network and she has been my mentee for a while. We meet weekly to discuss cultural themes and practice our first languages with each other. I cannot recommend her enough as a tutor. I majored in Arabic at the University of Notre Dame and have practiced my Arabic with her post grad.
