About Natasha

Hello! I'm Natasha, a native English speaker from New Zealand. I am both an Australian and a New Zealander. I have spent over half my life abroad living in various countries, including Japan, the UK, Malaysia, and Australia.

Over my lifetime, I have visited 42 countries, enriching my understanding of global cultures and real-world language use. After recently travelling across Europe and Asia for four months, I am excited to be back and fully ready to help you reach your English-language goals.

I have over 10 years of experience teaching English to learners at all levels from high A2 to C2, specialising in IELTS preparation, Business English, Travel English, and conversational fluency. My students appreciate my warm, patient, and personalised approach. They often mention how I create a fun and supportive learning environment that boosts their confidence, helps them overcome challenges with vocabulary and pronunciation, and tailors lessons to their individual goals and interests.

I enjoy watching movies and TV shows from around the world, as well as listening to music and podcasts. I enjoy exercising regularly and taking care of my health. I also enjoy travelling to different countries (I have visited 42+), talking, and learning about other cultures. I like visiting museums, the theatre, photography, painting, and attending festivals.

I hold a TEFL certificate from the USA, a Master of Science in Dispute Resolution from a Scottish university, and degrees in Psychology and Teaching English from New Zealand universities. I also possess specialised IELTS and Business English teaching certificates. My academic background and diverse teaching experiences—from academic English and IELTS in London and Malaysia to business English, TOEFL, TOEIC, travel and conversational English in Japan - help me understand what it takes to succeed in both formal and informal English settings.
