About Matilda

I am currently studying cello at a music college in Belgium, where I ended up partly because I was searching for a place where I could pursue both my passions: music and French.

I am English, born and raised in Spain, and studied languages at university, and have always been interested in learning new languages and becoming immersed in a foreign culture.

Throughout the years, I developed a method in my personal study which I have seen firsthand to be greatly efficient, and love to share that with others so they can enjoy the same satisfaction I did when learning a new language!

I have taught different profiles, ranging from kids -with who I would work to learn through games, songs and arts and crafts- to adults who were looking to improve their conversational skills or prepare a specific test.

About the lesson

I am passionate about languages and love to share my interest with likeminded, motivated people!

I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and in the process of getting a degree in French and one of the things that really gets my mind working is understanding the ins and outs of a languages, how they connect and the most efficient ways of learning them are.

My method covers the range of different skills required to fully integrate a new language (reading, writing, speaking), but I am very flexible and happy to cater to the individual needs of each student.

I have experience teaching both younger kids and adults, and can range from fun lessons that incorporate learning into games, songs and crafts, to conversation and discussions or grammar reinforcement.
