About Alex

I’m a language enthusiast who received a full, systematic Chinese education in China and obtained a Chinese-English translation degree in Australia. I’ve worked as a translation trainer, helping many students pass translation exams, and have provided language coaching for hundreds of students, supporting them in successfully passing both the IELTS and Chinese exams. If you’re passionate about Chinese, I’m eager to share everything I know. I’d love to immerse you in the experience of Chinese language and culture.

About the lesson

Offering Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing support, correcting pronunciation and vocabulary, and explaining various aspects of Chinese history and culture. I have a wealth of Chinese reading resources and tailor my teaching to different age groups’ needs. All Chinese language enthusiasts are welcome, and I also offer preparation for the HSK Chinese proficiency exam.

Alex’s teaching style is very flexible. Not only does she teach the Chinese language itself, but she also weaves the entire Chinese culture into it, giving me a more comprehensive understanding of the cultural connections behind the language. This also brings me closer to the language. Alex is a very passionate and friendly teacher, and her lessons are especially detailed. She helps me grasp the language in a very holistic way, so I highly recommend her!
