About Asa
I am an American born in North Carolina. I have lived in Italy for more than six years. I'm seventeen, and I'm finishing the last year of high school. I love philosophy, and especially the philosophy of language. Given my youth, I hope to be able to relate to the students in a friendly but always academic way.

English
I am a native English speaker with a passion for grammar, syntax, and semantics of languages, so my approach will have to do with the fundamental rules of grammar that allow us to form sentences with different levels of complexity. Instead of dealing with the myriad of boring exercises found in school books, I believe it is important to study languages in a compositional way, that is, to understand the finite list of principles that every speaker must follow in order to create grammatically correct sentences. Despite their complexity, these concepts can be explained simply. I also believe that it is very important to study the behavior and quirks of native speakers of a language in order to fully understand the language and look like a native speaker. As a native speaker, I can offer those quirks.
