About H
My name is Hugh and I'm from Dublin Ireland.
For 12 years I have been teaching private English lessons to students from different parts of the world.
As like most people, I love to travel, learn about new cultures and explore new countries.
I have travelled to 35 countries around the world. Of those countries, I have lived in 12 and worked in 8.
As a result of my extensive travel, I understand very well the importance and value of language and communication.
By combining my teaching and travel experience, I have been able to help my students learn English more effectively, helping them get to the next level.

Students taking my lessons have different options that depend on individual requests.
Students can have 1 or 2 lessons per week and lessons will be for 1 or 2 hours in duration, depending on the level of intensity and student preferences.
Students can have a lesson practising their English through conversation about various topics of conversation and keep a record of new vocabulary and pronunciation learned along the way
OR
If students want to learn at a higher intensity, I can provide homework.
Homework is given in between lessons so students can practice what they have learned during the lesson.
The homework given will depend on what the student needs, whether it's exam preparation, general English or preparing for a job interview in English.
By doing homework students will be able to look more deeply at English by studying areas of grammar, new vocabulary, phrasal verbs, phrasal nouns, phrasal adjectives, collocation and practice listening, reading and writing skills.
I will send you the books required for the lessons and decide which units of the book are best for you to complete in order to improve more effectively.
