About Peter
I'm a native English speaking Australian who recently obtained a B.A. degree as a mature age student from UWA. I have just completed my TESOL qualification (awaiting confirmation) with intention to teach in S.E. Asia as an extension of my interest in human geography of the region. I began a Dip. Ed. last year, though realised that my interest in education needs to be more closely attached to my interest in urban geography, hence shift to TESOL qualification.

I grew up in rural Australia with the teacher/student relationship extending beyond the classroom, a bond that has become a major influence in how I approach my teaching.
My teaching is aimed towards students wishing to improve their conversational English as well as to improve their comprehension of the written language.
The first steps are to ascertain what the student wants from the experience and where they are along their journey to their goal. Working together we can then build a program that works towards obtaining the students desired level of English competence.
