About Sandrine
Bonjour!
My name is Sandrine, I am a qualified translator (M.A. at ISIT, Paris) with experience of teaching French to students of all ages through bespoke activities and active conversation at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages (Taiwan).
I also have extensive experience of studying foreign languages myself, having learnt English from the age of 9, Spanish from the age of 14, and dedicated nearly 10 years of my student life (from 16 to 26) to learning Mandarin Chinese.

As I have learnt the hard way, studying a language can be fastidious. But it doesn't have to! I strongly believe that the best way to learn a language is to use it in real contexts, which is why I teach through practical activities: cooking, singing, painting, watching series... If there is something you like, we can use it!
I create bespoke teaching material based on your tastes and level, to make sure that you can progress at your own pace.
So if you are looking for something a bit different, I am looking forward to having fun together... En français bien sûr!

Sandrine is a fantastic tutor, very professional but also good fun. I stumbled across her "French on a Plate" page on FB and started learning French with her by cooking. I have been her student for a few weeks now and can feel that I have already progressed a lot. Shame we can't travel, I really want to go to France and practice now! I would recommend Sandrine without a hesitation. You may not be into cooking, but she's got many more strings to her bow.
