About Adrien
Hi! My name is Adrien and I'm a 21 year old Comparative Literature and French student. I grew up in the German speaking part of Switzerland, so am also fluent in German.
My mother is from Marseille, one of the most beautiful, exciting and unique places in the French speaking world and spent a lot of time there growing up. I have a very deep affinity for the surrounding region, the Provence, and am more than happy to share this passion with others.
My interests are varied, I'm a musician and have a deep affinity for arts and literature from France and around the world!
I know French lessons can sometimes be perceived as a bit dry and tedious, but with me, I always put emphasis on the belief that learning a language should be fun and try my best to adapt the lessons to the interests of the students :)

Growing up with a French mother who was also a French teacher I was confronted with the fact that a teacher must adapt to their students for the best results. I've taught French at various levels as a tutor back home in Switzerland and would like to continue doing so as a student here in London.
I've mostly worked with children and teenagers and have been trained as part of the compulsory Swiss civil and military service as child and youth carer, but am also open to more mature students.
I study comparative literature and French at UCL, so am constantly surrounded by various aspects of teaching and studying and wish to share my knowledge and experience.
My teaching is not only restricted to classic grammar and vocabulary lessons, but am also more than happy to help with oral skills, through conversations, speaking tasks and more!
I am quite flexible on lengths, format and frequency, so do not hesitate to contact me.
