About Jana
I am a Arts and Sciences student at UCL. I am French and Irish and have lived and gone to school in France my whole life. I passed my French baccalaureate with international option in English last year. I have experience tutoring French literature in France at secondary school level and have given both English and French language classes for the past 3 years.

My teaching method is structural meaning that each of my classes build on each other. French is a difficult language and I think it is important to spend time on the basics of conjugation and grammar. I insist on speaking purely French to the student in order to make them use to hearing and learning the pronounciation. I also try to engage in conversation with students for them to learn to speak as well as the rules of grammar.
