About Rebecca
I started tutoring young children when I was 14 at school and loved it so much that I kept doing it for the rest of my studies in high school and then while I traveled still.
I have had students online on various platforms, some that I kept tutoring for years. I love to help people finding ways to learn something that feels tailored to their interests. I have spent the last 6 years of my life travelling to different countries, exploring different cultures, languages, volunteering in many projects involving permaculture, sustainable farming and life in community. I have also done many workshops in Non-Violent Communication and generally feel very interested in improving communication to becoming more compassionate as individuals and as communities.
I am now starting a degree at University College Cork in Arts International with a focus on Religions and Global Diversity.

I like to teach in a fun way that adapts to my students' interests and needs. It could be to re-create situations for students to learn how to order food in a cafe, but also to read and translate extract from a book, or recommend some french movies and TV shows that we could later discuss in class and share our opinions about. Once the interests of the student is engaged I like to then add some notions of grammar, spelling, in an organic way so it relates to what we have been studying.
