E.g. he focused heavily on my pronunciation and offered tricks such as whistling such that I've now begun to improve on certain phonemes such as the 'u' in 'tu'. Before, I wasn’t completely at ease speaking French. However, slowly but surely I’m gaining more confidence in myself.
We talk about a variety of topics (some quite complex!), and he helps me a lot with grammar and pronunciation. We have exercises both in speaking and writing, which I find to be very useful.
