About Felix
Bonjour!
I'm Felix, a 25-year-old native French speaker living in Sydney. I used to work in Finance for several years, and I've spent several years living abroad, first in San Francisco, now in Australia.
Living in another language taught me what really helps when learning one: speaking early, not being afraid of mistakes, and learning the words people actually use. That's what motivated me to teach, sharing my language the way I wish I had been taught English.
I'm patient, structured and easy-going. I'll put real care into preparing each lesson around your goals and making you feel comfortable speaking from day one.
Outside of lessons, I love French cooking, so expect a bit of French culture, food and travel tips along the way!

Most learners struggle with French because they learn it from textbooks and rarely get to speak. My lessons put conversation at the center: you'll be speaking from the very first session, in a relaxed setting where making mistakes is part of the process.
Every lesson is built around your goals and level, whether you're a complete beginner, getting ready for a trip, keeping up with French-speaking friends or family, or polishing an already good level.
A typical lesson:
– A short warm-up chat to get you speaking
– One focused topic: a grammar point, a vocabulary theme, or a real-life situation such as ordering at a café, small talk or writing a message
– Lots of speaking practice, with gentle corrections on pronunciation and the mistakes English speakers typically make
– A quick recap and a few exercises to keep progressing between sessions
You'll learn the French people actually speak in France, including everyday expressions and a bit of culture along the way.
