About Virgile

Hi! My name is Virgile and I’m a 23-year-old native French tutor currently studying a Master of Urban Planning at UQ. Before that, I completed a Master of Civil Engineering at ESTP Paris, one of the leading engineering schools in France. I am patient, organized, and genuinely enjoy helping people learn new skills, especially languages. Thanks to my own experience learning English (now C1 level) and Spanish, I understand the challenges of learning a foreign language and know how to guide students with empathy, clarity and motivation. On a more personal note, I love traveling around the world, meeting new people, practicing sports such as basketball and climbing, and doing photography. About the lesson

My lessons are adapted to each student, depending on their goals, academic, professional, travel-related or simply out of curiosity.
I offer complete and well-structured lessons, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation practice and cultural insights.

I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, having taught dozens of students aged 10 to 25 in French, Maths and Physics.

I am patient, friendly, supportive and goal-oriented. I use a mix of explanation, practice, conversation and personalised exercises to help students progress effectively.

Lesson lengths are usually 1 or 2 hours, but I am flexible and open to any duration that suits the student.

I can teach all levels (A1 to C1), from children to adults.

I teach in person in Woolloongabba and nearby suburbs, or online.
