About Melika
Bonjour student!
My name is Melika. I am a 21 year old full time college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in International studies and foreign languages with Arabic and Spanish as my languages of study. As you can see, I am just like you learning new languages! I am in your shoes and I know how hard it can be to learn a new language. God knows how much I have been and am STILL struggling with Arabic lol.
I get you and I want to help you.
Studying foreign languages has given me the tools, tips and ressources to not only learn, but also to teach languages. In fact, through my languages classes, I was taught some of the greatest methods to effectively learn a new language. Those are the same methods that I had the pleasure to share with the refugees that I have been teaching french classes to and those are the same methods I want to teach YOU as well.
In reality, whether you are learning French, English, Japanese or Korean, the methods and the techniques remain the same! Once you understand that, you can learn any language that you want.
I love languages, I love French and mostly, I love helping others. It will be a pleasure to be your tutor.

Here's how our lessons together will look like
-Before our first session: Getting in contact with you to learn more about you, your goals in French as well as your strengths and weaknesses so that I can create lesson plans that work best for you!
-A typical lesson plan will consist of:
1) Teaching the lesson topic of the week with visual support
2) A little break
3) Doing exercices together to make sure you understood what we just learned during the lesson
4) Answering all of your questions
5) Giving you a mini homework to complete in your free time
6) Right after the class, sending you the visual support of the lesson with notes + videos and links to help you study the lesson even more.
There will be an exam after each module we study, BUT you decide when you want to take it! There are no fixed dates. If you feel ready to take the exam, then we set up a date together. If you tell me that you are not ready, then we will review the module together until you are ready to take it.
My goal is to help you learn, not to create stress in your life. I want you to succeed!
My lessons are for students with at least a little bit of knowledge in French and you must be at least 14 years old.
