About Lucie
As a French student who immigrated to the UK, I often had conversation about my native language with friends and have noticed how confusing the language can be to British people, and vice versa actually!
But as somebody who learns both, I find similarities and ways of explaining the language based on the other, as I am fluent in both. I believe it is easier to understand a language when one has a reference point.

I try to explain the language based on etymology and its similarities with the English language (they are more than you would have ever thought!).
After time spent on the provided material I will be able to suggest or come with short readings to help further your understanding as well as suggesting pieces of media that would help you depending on your level.
If you have a specific exam to prepare for, we will analyse together what is expected of you and how to get there.
I can give lessons to teenagers and adults.
A lesson would last an hour or less.
