Native French Teacher from Lyon - Really Structured and Organized Content for Every Level

If you want to improve your French this is the way to do it! I have been taking private lessons with Anne-Laure once a week for the last month and I already feel so much more confident with my French conversation. The program material provided is extensive and thorough and you can access it to study at anytime. Anne-Laure is so positive and supportive and I have benefited so much from the 1 to 1 tutoring. I started learning French from scratch with a focus on business travel. With great patience and excellent teaching skills, Anne-Laure taught me—and continues to teach me—in a wonderful way. Anne-Laure uses an excellent methodology that strengthens grammar, pronunciation, comprehension, and writing skills, combined with digital solutions that make lessons easier and more efficient. I already had a foundation in French, especially in speaking, but I needed to improve my grammar, and the classes with the professor have helped me develop and refine this skill.

She is an incredible teacher. She puts so much dedication into preparing the materials and the virtual learning environment. After just one month, I already feel comfortable reading some materials. She understands exactly how fast to go at certain moments and when to focus more on others. I’m delighted — she has far exceeded my expectations! I’m definitely not letting her go anytime soon :)

Anne-Laure is organized with plenty of different sorts of material at the ready and can pivot immediately if we request a focus on something. There are two of us taking this and working around our interests and knowledge is harder than having just one person to tutor! I particularly appreciate the skills-related work on listening. I think that's one of the hardest things to learn and the concentration on that is great.

I'm very lucky to have Anne-Laure as my French teacher. She's very kind and patient with me. She has a teaching method that's tailored to my needs and follows a syllabus that progresses smoothly from one level to another without being overwhelming.
