About Sandra
I am a Franco-British language teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching French to students of different ages and backgrounds. Having lived and worked between France and the UK, I understand both education systems and the challenges learners face when studying a new language.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a genuine connection with the language. Alongside my teaching, I have developed my own approach to language learning based on sound, storytelling and meaningful context, which helps students understand and remember French more naturally.

With over 15 years of experience teaching French, I offer structured and engaging lessons adapted to each student’s level and goals. I work with secondary school students preparing for GCSE and A-Level, as well as adult learners who want to develop confidence in speaking and understanding French.
Alongside my teaching, I have developed my own language-learning approach based on a sound-first, narrative-led methodology - French Made Simple. This means students first engage with the rhythm and sounds of the language through meaningful context and stories, before analysing grammar in a more intuitive and memorable way.
Lessons typically combine listening, speaking, targeted exercises and cultural context to help students build both confidence and accuracy. I adapt each lesson to the learner’s needs — whether the focus is exam preparation, improving pronunciation, strengthening grammar or simply developing fluency in everyday conversation.
My aim is always to make French accessible, engaging and effective so that students make steady and lasting progress.
