About Celine

I am a native French speaker. I have been teaching French as a foreign language for over 16 years now. I studied Applied Foreign Languages (English and Chinese) in college in France and graduated with a master's degree in 2006. I taught French in China and Hong Kong in various institutions: Universities, language schools, elementary and middle schools, private lessons and online. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my 4-year-old daughter and husband, hiking, cooking and learning Mandarin. Let's learn French together!

About the lesson

I teach all levels and ages. I use a mix of popular textbooks and materials designed by myself. I am familiar with the following exams: DELF, GCSE and IGCSE. I make it a point to empower my students in their learning. I will encourage, support, explain, provide but at the end of the day I want you to feel proud of yourself for what you achieved. Learning languages successfully is all about confidence and motivation.

She speaks at length with the student in the first class to better understand their interests and their linguistic level. I really enjoyed working with her!
