About Nils
I am a German student studying Bachelor of Education (the degree to become a teacher in Germany). My subjects are Mathematics, Political Science and English. I have given private tuition to students since my own school days. After my A-Levels, I have been in Paris for six months teaching children how to speak German authentically. At my home university, I have learnt a lot about teaching a second language to children.

My philosophy in teaching a second language is communication and confrontation. Being confronted with the other language from the very first beginning is, in my opinion, the most effective way to be able to communicate. It is not essential to understand every spoken word right from the beginning but to get an idea of the sound of the foreign language. If a certain level of the language has already been obtained the most effective way to improve it is likewise to communicate with a native person.
