About Christian

I am a 55-year-old tutor born and educated in Germany. I am currently living in Ireland. I previously lived for 28 years in South Africa where I taught English and German. My hobbies are cooking, football, cricket, rugby, golf, fishing, and having interesting conversations in general. I also enjoy traveling a lot and do so wherever an opportunity presents itself. Before moving to Ireland I lived in South Africa. I owned a business, which offered language courses to Corporate clients. My business also offered relocation services as well as intercultural workshops.

About the lesson

Hi, My name is Christian. I am currently living in the Republic of Ireland but was born and educated in Germany. I also lived in South Africa for more than 28 years where I taught English and German at several multinational corporations. I enjoy interacting with people, socializing, and sports a lot. I traveled extensively for work and pleasure. I am always interested in meeting people from different backgrounds. My friends say that I am easy to chat with and have a good sense of humor.
Teaching style
I facilitate German/English language classes ranging from beginners to advanced levels for more than 20 years. I like to make my classes interesting with topics that suit my students. I will always give my students a realistic assessment of their current language skills and then discuss goals we would like to achieve. I am happy to support learners by using correct grammar and sentence structure. Students who prepare for exams for IELTS or perhaps TEFL qualifications are welcome to book classes with me. Further assisting with job interview preparations and business German/English lessons. My language classes range from 30 to 60-minute lessons. So let’s start your journey to becoming a confident German/English speaker.
