About Theodoros

I'm a native Greek speaker studying Primary Education at the University of Ioannina. I've taught Greek as a foreign language to Dutch adults, focusing on conversation, practical vocabulary, and cultural context. Patient, structured, and adapted to your pace and goals.

About the lesson

Lessons focus on real conversation from the very first session, building vocabulary and grammar naturally around your goals — everyday life, moving to Greece, or work. Each class mixes speaking practice, gentle corrections, listening, and cultural context. I adapt pace and material to how you learn best, and track your progress so you always see how far you've come.

I highly recommend Theodoros for online lessons. I have been his student for 2 weeks now and I am very impressed by his work. I have some issues with the Greek language but now I am starting to understand more things!!

My husband and I moved to Greece 3 years ago. To learn the Greek language, we started trying to self-educate with apps and some books, but we noticed we didn’t improve a lot. This year, we started professional lessons with Theodorus weekly, and we are amazed by the progress we are making. Theo builds up his lessons in a very structured way, tailored to our needs. Each building block he adds links into what we learned so that we actually understand the Greek language. We were so amazed we could quickly start creating sentences and conversations. Theo zooms in on our progress in a personal way, knows when to take more time on a subject, and creates subject-specific exercises that are fun to do and clarify it to us. He is very patient and calm with us and always willing to explain again if he feels we need it. For the first time since our move, we feel confident that we will speak Greek well and enjoy it! Thank you, Theo!
