About Francesca

My name is Francesca, and I am a native Italian speaker with a strong passion for language, communication, and teaching. I am a responsible, patient, and motivated person who approaches tutoring with seriousness and care, even though I am at the beginning of my teaching experience.

I have international experience living in the United States, where I worked as an au pair, taking care of children in a multicultural environment. Before that, I also worked as a track and field coach, which helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to guide and motivate others. These experiences taught me how to explain things clearly, adapt to different personalities, and create a positive learning atmosphere.

I am organized, reliable, and committed to preparing each lesson with attention and professionalism. My goal is to create a calm, respectful, and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable and confident while learning Italian at their own pace.

About the lesson

my approach as a tutor is based on creating a calm, friendly, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I adapt my teaching method to each student’s level, goals, and learning style, using a simple and practical approach to help them learn Italian in a natural way. I focus on conversation, basic grammar explained clearly, vocabulary for everyday situations, and pronunciation, always adjusting the lesson to the student’s needs.

A typical lesson usually starts with a short conversation or warm-up activity to practice speaking and build confidence. Then we work on a specific topic, such as grammar, new vocabulary, or a real-life situation like ordering food or introducing yourself. I like to use examples, images, short texts, and interactive activities to keep the lesson engaging. At the end of the lesson, we review what we learned and I give simple exercises or suggestions to practice between lessons.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, flexibility, and experience working with children as well as adults. By taking lessons with me, you support my goal of saving for university in the US while receiving friendly, personalized Italian lessons from a native speaker!

My lessons are for beginners and intermediate students, children, teenagers, and adults who want to learn Italian in a relaxed and effective way. I welcome students who are starting from zero, as well as those who already have some knowledge and want to improve their confidence and fluency.
