About Rhei

Hi! My name is Rhei and I have been a professional tutor for 8 years now, though informally it has been much longer.

I am originally from Italy, and I like to nerd out about languages, and have a little grasp on a few (e.g. Japanese, Chinese, etc).

Because of my passion for languages and sharing, I really enjoy teaching Italian as a foreign language. Beyond that I like to dive deep into Italian culture whenever I can, drawing connections between the language and cultural and historical facts.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed co-creatively with the students, based on their needs and goals. I can provide learning materials such as vocabulary lists, grammar exercises, example texts, as well as audio recording for listening practice.

In my live sessions I like to combine interactive exercises with clear explanations of core concepts (e.g. grammar points). I use examples, visuals, humour, and collaborative activities to make learning engaging and to help students build confidence. The context can vary, from more formal grammar study to expanding vocabulary, to quickly building speaking skills.

Because I am a language learner myself, I know what it means to pick up a new language and I can use my personal experience to guide my teaching.

Furthermore, I have been a professional tutor for eight years. My tutoring has spanned multiple subjects, from STEM to languages, to coaching for life skills. As a language tutor, I like to share my deep understanding of the language and its quirks with my students.

Already at good speaking level. Practice should help with expanding vocabulary and adjust imperfections (e.g. pronunciation/conjugation).
