About Alessia

I am a native Italian speaker and I hold a degree in Languages and Tourism Culture from the University of Turin.

I enjoy teaching Italian because I’m passionate about languages and communication. I love helping people express themselves in a new language and gain confidence when speaking. For me, teaching is not just about grammar rules, but about making Italian feel natural, useful, and enjoyable in real-life situations.

I also enjoy meeting students from different countries and cultures, which makes every lesson interesting and unique.

My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can improve step by step, without pressure, and actually enjoy the learning process.

I offer personalized Italian lessons for beginners and intermediate students, focusing on real communication skills such as conversation, grammar, and practical everyday Italian.

My goal is to help you feel confident speaking Italian in real-life situations, whether you’re learning for travel, work, study, or personal interest.

Each lesson is fully tailored to your needs and learning pace, and I also use English when needed to make explanations clear and easy to follow.

I am happy to travel to your home for in-person lessons. To cover travel time and transportation costs, a small fee applies depending on your distance from Cumberland Park:

Within 5 km: No travel fee.

5–15 km: A $10–$15 travel fee per session.

Over 15 km: Travel fees will be discussed and agreed upon based on distance.

Alternatively, I am always available for online lessons, which are a convenient way to learn without any extra travel costs. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
