About Ryoma

I am a native Japanese speaker living in Perth, currently training as a barista because I love coffee and café culture. I enjoy meeting people from around the world and sharing conversations about daily life, languages, and culture. I grew up reading Japanese manga and still love talking about stories, characters, and Japanese pop culture. My English is still intermediate, so I understand very well how learners feel when they worry about nuance, politeness, or saying something the wrong way. Because I know that feeling, I always create a friendly, patient, and relaxed environment where beginners can learn without pressure and enjoy taking their first steps in Japanese.

About the lesson

I teach Japanese in a relaxed and beginner-friendly way, using simple language and clear examples.

My lessons are mainly in Japanese so students can learn naturally, but I can give light English support when needed.

A typical lesson is 60 minutes and focuses on practical conversation, pronunciation, and everyday phrases that you can use immediately.

I have experience communicating with people from many countries through my hospitality work, so I am patient and easy to talk to.

My lessons are perfect for beginners, travellers, and anyone who wants to learn Japanese step by step without pressure.
