About Miru
I started teaching Korean lessons via webcam this year. With my past students, we've covered topics that range from grammar to pronunciation. We also talked about lots of things, like ordering in a restaurant, music and travelling (all in Korean!)
I have years of experience teaching younger children as well. I worked at a tuition centre where I helped children (between the ages 5-15) with English and Maths.

Hi, I'm Miru and I grew up speaking both Korean and English. My parents are from South Korea but they raised me in London.
I'm here to teach conversational Korean, so whether you would like to learn the basics or practise your speaking, I'm here to help!
I've had many online language lessons (mainly Spanish and French) so I know what it's like to be taught via webcam. What I find that works best is getting the STUDENT to do all the talking. The goal is for you to get as much as you can out of each lesson. So, once we figure out what you like to focus on, we can tailor each session and jump straight in.
I have my own resources but I'm happy to use whatever you like.
