About Yixuan
As a native Chinese speaker, I hold a National Mandarin Level 2 A certificate. And I am pursuing a Master of Applied Linguistics at The University of Queensland. In 2023, I participated in the 2023 Chinese Bridge Online Camp with the full name "Language Links Sino-US, Partners in Journey, and Dream Weaving in Red Yan'an". During this experience, I worked with learners from diverse backgrounds, gaining a clear understanding of the common difficulties non-native speakers face in learning Chinese and how to address them effectively. Thanks to this practical experience, I excel at integrating culture into language teaching: for example, sharing folk stories when explaining words, or incorporating small details of cultural differences between China and other countries when practicing dialogues.
