Since 2017, I have been teaching Mandarin lessons in Brisbane. Based on the age and needs of students, my teaching methods are varied, including singing Chinese nursery rhymes, reading poems, telling idiom stories, playing games, and even holding an award-winning quiz, etc., to attract children's interest.
In addition, cooking showcasing is held in some important Chinese festivals, introducing Chinese festivals and food culture, as well as making dumplings and other special foods, so that students can experience Chinese culture in the activities. Some paper-folding art, Chinese paper-cutting and Chinese knot for decoration were introduced into the lessons as well.
The students are mainly pre-school, primary and secondary school students. The youngest is 2.5 years old and the oldest is 16 years old. And I have been teaching my two young kids Mandarin for ten years.
I am a blue card holder.
Perfect! Finding age appropriate activities to engage children and help them learn.
Perfect! Elaine is calm with my children. She offers the right incentives to get them to learn. She has a structure and a plan every week. I highly recommend her.
I am very happy to have this private lesson for these three children.
