I’m Janet, a native Mandarin speaker from China, live in Auckland for over a decade.

1. Native Mandarin Chinese speaker and holding an NZ teaching certificate
2. Experienced in education and working with tamariki and young children in New Zealand
3. Comfortable communicating in both Mandarin and English
4. Patient, friendly, and supportive teaching style
5. Experienced in preparing learning activities and explaining ideas in a simple and engaging way
My background in education has helped me understand that everyone learns differently. I enjoy creating a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and practicing at their own pace.
I’m happy to work with beginners, children, adults, or anyone who would like to improve their Mandarin for daily life, travel, work or personal interest.
