About Isidora
Hi! My name is Isidora, izzy for short. I'm half Chilean and French and was raised in NYC. I am fluent in all three languages and have been teaching them as a tutor since I was 15.
I am now 31 and have perfected my lessons with experience, always adapting to every student's needs and expectations, as well as age.
I am confident in the techniques I use and assure you will always have fun as well as learn,I find it key in keeping students motivated with lessons.

My teaching is organized around the demands and needs of the student. I use different techniques and adapt whichever one is working best for every individual student.
I mostly use Task-based language teaching (TBLT), which interests and engages the learners and Communicative language teaching (CLT), aiming to put students in a variety of real-life situations, so that they can learn how to use their language skills to communicate in the real world, focusing on the fluency of communication rather than accuracy and lessons are more hands-on than theoretical.
Typical length of a lesson is between 45 to 90 minutes.
Raised in NYC, speaking Spanish in my household, I am a native speaker in both languages and have been tutoring since I was a kid!
My lessons are for anyone that is keen and determined to learn a new language!
