About Maria

I’m Maria Fernandez Padilla, a native Spanish speaker from Barcelona with over 7 years of experience teaching to students of all ages, both in person and online.
I speak English proficiently, making it easier for me to guide English-speaking learners through their Spanish journey.
My lessons are personalized to each student’s needs, focusing on building confidence and fluency. Whether you're just starting out, preparing for an exam, or enhancing your conversation skills, I’m committed to helping you achieve your language goals with professionalism and enthusiasm.

About the lesson

Unlock the beauty of the Spanish language with personalized lessons from a native speaker! I’m dedicated to helping you achieve your language goals, whether you're a beginner or an advanced student.

My Teaching Methodology:
I believe in a communicative approach, where real-life conversation and practical usage are at the heart of every lesson. I integrate a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises tailored to your specific needs. Each lesson is crafted to be engaging and interactive, using multimedia resources, authentic materials, and a variety of activities that ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each session encompasses a cordial introductory conversation, targeted practice on specific language proficiencies (vocabulary, grammar, etc.), interactive activities such as role-playing, and cultural insights, followed by personalized homework assignments and constructive feedback. (Note that the sessions can be customized, and we can mutually agree on a lesson plan that best suits your requirements.)

What Sets Me Apart:
- Native Expertise: As a native speaker from Barcelona, I offer authentic insights into the language, its nuances, and cultural context.
- Tailored Lessons: I adapt my teaching style and materials to suit your learning pace and goals, whether it’s passing an exam, enhancing your conversational skills, or mastering business Spanish.
- Engaging and Supportive: My classes are interactive and supportive, designed to build your confidence in using Spanish in real-life situations.

Who Are These Lessons For?
- All Levels: From complete beginners to advanced learners looking to refine their skills.
- Conversation Enthusiasts: Improve your fluency and comprehension through focused speaking practice.
- Students & Professionals: Exam preparation, academic support, or business communication.
- Travelers & Culture Lovers: Learn practical language skills and cultural insights to enhance your travel experiences.

Whether you're looking to start from scratch or perfect your Spanish, my classes are here to help you reach your goals with confidence and ease. Let's make learning Spanish a fun and rewarding journey!
