About Manuel
I am a recent engineering graduate living in NYC. I am from Venezuela and have been living here in the US since 2016. While in college, I provided Spanish tutoring for both fellow students at my school and locals of the area.
I am a fun and energetic guy and I LOVE teaching others my language. Spanish is not hard at all (trust me) and it fills me with joy and satisfaction when those who I help slowly get it and start speaking my language. I have tons of patience and do not mind repeating things 1000 times (do not worry).

I assess your Spanish skills as well as your interests and needs in the first class. If you feel comfortable, we then set up weekly meetings. I prepare lessons (based on your skills and needs) ahead of time. My classes are not overly structured, but each one does have a goal. This means that we can divert from topic and I can answer different questions you may have as we go on with the lesson (because THIS is how you learn best and soak in a wide range of topics without it feeling too dense).
I have helped beginners with their conversational skills, students with their grammar and writing, and friends with their oral comprehension by going over videos and songs! I am excited to teach you Spanish and finally make you realize it is NOT hard at all! It will be very fun :)
I am more than willing to teach children as well. I have taught English to kids back in Venezuela and feel comfortable arranging topics and conversations that are easy for kids to follow and understand.
