About Clara

Hello! I'm Clara, a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela currently living in the United States.

I enjoy helping others learn and believe that learning a new language should be practical, encouraging, and enjoyable. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable building confidence and improving their Spanish at their own pace.

I attended the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where I completed the academic coursework for a Bachelor's degree in Geography. I am also committed to continuous learning and am currently studying medical coding. Additionally, I am a member of the AAPC and have completed coursework in medical terminology, healthcare administration, professionalism in allied health, and customer service.

I have experience guiding people through structured learning, explaining concepts clearly, and adapting to different learning styles. Whether you're learning Spanish for travel, work, school, or personal growth, I'll be happy to support you with personalized lessons focused on real-life communication.

I look forward to helping you reach your Spanish learning goals!

About the lesson

Learning Spanish should be practical, enjoyable, and tailored to your personal goals. As a native Spanish speaker, my goal is to help you feel confident communicating in real-life situations from the very beginning.

Every student learns differently, so I personalize each lesson based on your level, interests, and learning style. Whether you're learning Spanish for travel, work, school, personal growth, or simply to connect with Spanish-speaking friends and family, I'll create lessons that keep you motivated and engaged.

A typical lesson includes a short review of previous material, new vocabulary and useful everyday expressions, guided conversation, pronunciation and accent reduction practice, reading activities, and interactive exercises. I encourage students to participate, ask questions, and practice speaking in a relaxed and supportive environment.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and step by step. I enjoy helping people understand new concepts in a simple way and building their confidence as they progress. I believe that mistakes are a natural part of learning, and my goal is to make every student feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.

My lessons are ideal for:
• Complete beginners
• Intermediate learners who want to become more fluent
• Travelers preparing for Spanish-speaking countries
• Professionals who want to improve their communication skills
• Students who need extra support
• Anyone interested in conversational Latin American Spanish

I also have knowledge of medical terminology in English and Spanish, which can be helpful for healthcare students and professionals who want to improve their communication with Spanish-speaking patients.

My goal is not only to teach Spanish but also to help you enjoy the learning process, improve your pronunciation, expand your vocabulary, and gain the confidence to communicate naturally in everyday situations.
